Today's film will be 13 Going on 30, starring Jennifer Garner as a 13 year old whose dream of becoming a 30 year old comes true after a birthday wish.  She realizes that she has everything she could have wanted in life as a 30 year old, or does she?

While the film is decent, it's by no means a showstopper.  In fact, I'd give it a 3.5/5 stars.  HOWEVER, there is one PERFECTLY choreographes sc ene which is a total 5/5!  It's the Thriller scene where Jennifer Garner's character, Jenna, along with her boss, coworker, and best guy friend (who *spoiler alert* becomes something more), all dance to Michael Jackson's song "Thriller," in the middle of a posh party.  This scene was so amazing, as it was kind of nostalgic of the 80s, while still remaining current and modern.  the dancing was fun and true to the original, without taking itself too seriously.
If your not one for chick flicks, I at least recommend checking out this incredible scene that anyone would love!

A word to my readers:
Please feel free to comment, suggest, and write to me so I can improve the blog & make it the best it can be.  This is a new blog and I am open to suggestions tailored to make itmost pleasant for my readers!
The first movie will be Big Daddy, starring Adam Sandler.  It's regarded as a modern comedic classic by many and it's one of my personal favorites.
It is the story of a man-child, named Sonny, who gets the surprise of a lifetime when the child of his roomate, Julian, shows up on his doorstep.  In order to impress a girl, he adopts the child (fraudulantly, I might add) and learns a lot about himself and responsibility along the way.  It's laugh out loud and totally heartfelt.
I LOVE THIS MOVIE! I saw it for the first time, in the theatres, when I was only five years old and have just loved it ever since. I give it the full 5 stars.
One of my favorite scenes from any movie comes from Big Daddy. It is the scene taht takes place on Halloween.  Sonny takes Julian trick-or-treating for the first time, where they come in contact with a crabby old man who refuses to answer the door.  He is on the phone and gestures through the window for the pair to leave.  Two minutes later, we see Sonny in the house with the man, who is petrified and winds up giving little Julian everything he can find, including his expensive watch.  This scene was so funny and made the movie perfect in my eyes!
